Who knows how many parts there will actually be to this, but I wanted to at least set myself up with confidence. If you’re new around here, then you should you know that i’m pretty minimalist when it comes to my beauty and make-up routine. But, I have found a few things that I absolutely love! For skin care I stick with some basics from Primally Pure, True Botanicals and Crunchi! I’m going to go over my favorites here and how I use them. You should also know that while I want the products to be effective, it’s equally important to me that they are non-toxic. The products I use are both, so you can rest assured that they work and aren’t harmful to your health. The beauty industry isn’t well regulated so we have to really read labels and pay attention to what we are putting on our largest organ. Morning Routine:
- I love to rinse my face with cool water and a soft cotton cloth, I have a dozen of them from under the nile made of organic cotton. Also a great time to pluck my eyebrows as i’m staring at myself in the mirror ha ha. Speaking of unwanted hairs, you have to try one of these Facial Razors. They are so easy to use and no my hair did not grow back darker or thicker. You can use it all over your face but I just use it above my lip.
- Then I spray my face and neck all over with one of Primally Pure’s complexion mists, like this Geranium one. You can rotate them out so just try one that sounds appealing to you.
- Next I apply this Fancy Face Serum, it’s packed with vitamins and antioxidants to reduce the appearance of fine lines and scarring. Sounds good right!? I also really love True Botanicals Pure Radiance Oil.
- Lastly, if I’m going to be outside i’ll apply Crunchi’s Sunlight SPF.
Then my face is ready for the day as is or ready for some make-up by Crunchi! I’ll talk make-up on part 2!
Evening Routine:
- Step one, remove make-up and dirt and grime from the day with this Baby Oil. It’s perfect for babies obviously, but also great at removing all make-up, including your eye make-up! I also love to give my littles a quick massage with it after bath time.
- Then you are ready to cleanse, have you ever tried oil cleansing? It’s my favorite way to wash my face. I grab this one from Primally Pure as well, it leaves your skin feeling luxurious.
- I don’t tone as much as I should, but i’m adding that in here because you should! You can use the Everything Spray as a toner, it’s also great for any type of skin irritation. Their deodorant works amazingly well, but this spray would be great for a quick afternoon refresher. Speaking of deodorant, the Blue Tansy is my favorite and it’s aluminum free!! I don’t have any irritation with their deodorant, and I apply it after showering so bacteria has no time to grow. Also after showering I apply the Blue Tansy Body Oil, a little goes a long way so I see it lasting quite a while.
- One day i’ll splurge on this mask from True Botanicals to use weekly! What’s your favorite mask? I’ve never been great as those, oops.
- Ok lastly I moisturize. There are a few products I love for this! I’m obsessed with anything Blue Tansy from Primally Pure and I totally love this moisturizer. It is heavier, so perfect for dry skin or dry patches. I don’t like it in the morning, but if I use it at night it soaks in wonderfully by morning and the smell is soooo wonderful.
- I also really love True Botanicals Renew Serum mixed with Vitamin C Booster. It’s pricey and I don’t use it every night, but you will see results from that duo. So either the moisturizer or serum combo and you’re set for some sweet beauty sleep.
Ok that’s it for skin routine, what do you think!? Too much, too little? To break it down rinse, cleanse and moisturize in the morning. Then in the evening, remove make-up, cleanse, tone and moisturize. And add in an occasional mask. Not too bad right!?
